Amanda Telfer died in August 2012 on her way to work after three frames around 3 m long blew over on to her. The frames weighed a total of 655 kg and had been left overnight on the pavement in Hanover Square, central London, leant unsecured against the wall.
Kelvin Adsett of Slough, Berkshire was site supervisor for the renovation by IS Europe of a building on the square. He was convicted of manslaughter on 23 March at the Old Bailey. IS Europe was also convicted of failings under s 2(1) and s 3(1) of the Health and Safety at Work Act
Damian Lakin-Hall of Cobham, Surrey, who was site manager for principal contractor Westgreen Construction was convicted of safety failings but acquitted of manslaughter.
Adsett and Lakin-Hall are due to be sentenced on 5 May.
