Those visitors were able to get information about the latest developments involving IOSH, while staff members were on hand to provide advice and answer questions.
The expo was held at ExCeL London from 21-23 June. The stand included a small theatre, where there were presentations on a variety of topics across the three days.
The topics included safety and health training, the No Time to Lose campaign and new and upcoming publications, as well as guidance on CPD and IPD. In all, 250 people attended the theatre presentations.
IOSH Events Manager Colette Norman said: "We are delighted that our stand at the Safety and Health Expo was a huge success.
"Visitors were able to find out a host of information about what is happening in the wider safety and health world as well as IOSH's latest developments. They were also able to get guidance on their career development.
Away from the IOSH stand, the institution also gave other presentations at the expo. Head of Development Carolyn Issitt spoke about the IOSH Blueprint in the Training and Career Zone.
Meanwhile Immediate Past President Tim Briggs was joined by the HSE's Julian Delic and the British Occupational Hygiene Society's Chris Beach in a presentation on the effects of worker exposure to silica dust, the current focus of No Time to Lose.
The Safety and Health Expo was co-located with IOSH 2016, which itself was held from 21-22 June.
