If OHSCR was seen as the portal for engaging those with the skills and qualifications for the most senior H&S positions then we may start to see a change in the profession, taking it away from 'regulation in isolation' and 'tick box Charlie' approach. This would enable H&S leaders to sit with CEO and FD at board level instead of beneath OD and HR Directors where they are used ad-hoc and to meet KPIs that don't balance all cost-benefit and ARARF decisions.
