Visitors to the stand’s theatre will be able to get information on career development, IOSH training courses, volunteering opportunities and the upcoming ISO 45001 standard.
There will also be details about IOSH's new strategy, WORK 2022, and the latest from its No Time to Lose occupational cancer campaign. Staff will be on hand throughout the event, being held from 20-22 June at London Excel, to offer advice on all things related to occupational safety and health.
In addition to its main stand, IOSH will also take over the Operational Excellence Theatre on Wednesday 21 June.
The theme for this will be ‘All about risk’. There will be a look at the dos and don’ts of risk assessments, how to ensure risk assessments are sensible and proportionate, the adoption of ISO 45001, a panel discussion on what makes a good risk assessment, and managing risks of older workers.
Emma Carter, IOSH Membership Manager, said: “Whether it’s help with career development, information about IOSH training courses or IOSH Blueprint you want to know more about, our stand is the place to be.
“We have an excellent programme in our 30-seat theatre, while our helpful staff will be available should people require any one-to-one support.
“We are also excited about the line-up we have on the Operational Excellence Theatre, which covers the wide range of subjects around the issue of risk.”
The IOSH stand will be at Q80. The theatre programme will run from 10:45am – 3.00pm on all three days. A full programme will be available shortly. The Operational Excellence Programme will run from 10.15am-3.45pm, with breaks between presentations.
