The PCE-432 noise meter is one of the class 1 sound level meters which have sold very well among health and safety professionals. This model can do A, B, C and Z frequency weightings as well as fast, slow and impulse time weightings. For companies which have to stick to certain rules and regulations, it is important to know that this noise meter complies with the standards GB/T 3785.1-2010, GB/T 3785.2-2010, IEC 60651:1979, IEC 60804:2000, IEC 61672-1:2013, ANSI S1.4-1983 and ANSI S1.43-1997.
The standard version of the noise meter is with a 1/1 octave band filter but can be upgraded to a 1/3 octave band filter for an extra charge, if required. The user can set the alarm threshold. The noise meter can calculate LXY (SPL), LXeq, LXYSD, LXSEL, LXE, LXYmax, LXYmin, LXPeak and LXN values. Data can be saved to a microSD card and evaluated via a PC software which is included with the noise meter.
The PCE-432 comes with a microphone, a foam ball to suppress wind noises, a USB cable, a PC software, a mains adaptor, a factory calibration certificate according to ISO 9001, a user manual and a carrying case. For outdoor use, the PCE-432 can be purchased in a kit which comes with a Waterproof PELI transport case, a wind and rain protection for the microphone, a charger for internal batteries, two 12 V lead gel batteries, a tripod, a 2 m microphone cable and a connection cable for power supply.
