The stand will include a theatre, where presentations will focus on topics such as implementing ISO 45001, the latest on IOSH’s framework and No Time to Lose campaign, and information for members on updating their CPD and IPD.
The expo is being held at London Excel from 21-23 June. As well as the theatre, IOSH staff will be on hand to offer advice on all things related to occupational safety and health.
IOSH events manager Colette Norman said: “The IOSH stand at Safety and Health Expo is a must-visit. There are expert speakers who will bring people up to speed on the latest in occupational safety and health.
“Meanwhile IOSH staff will be able to assist members in their career development. We would encourage anyone at the expo to visit the stand.”
The IOSH stand will be at Q2300. The theatre programme will start at 10.45am on each day, finishing at 4.05pm on the first two days and 2.05pm on the final day.
IOSH will also be presenting elsewhere at the expo. Head of development Carolyn Issitt will speak about the framework in the Training and Career Zone, between 10.50am and 11.20am on Tuesday 21 June.
Meanwhile Immediate Past President Tim Briggs will be joined by the HSE’s Julian Delic and the British Occupational Hygiene Society’s Chris Beach in a presentation on the effects of worker exposure to silica dust, the current focus of IOSH’s No Time to Lose campaign. This will be held between 11am and 11.30am on Thursday 23 June.
The Safety and Health Expo will be taking place alongside IOSH’s annual conference, IOSH 2016, which itself will be held from 21-22 June.
