Osmond Ergonomics, a leader in the workplace wellbeing sector for three decades, is hosting a free event for Health and Safety professionals and Facilities Managers, focussing on tools and approaches to keep staff healthy and happy when working from home, as well as how to attract workers back to the office.
The free day-long event, which includes refreshments and lunch, takes place on Wednesday, 19 October at the impressive Orangebox showroom in Clerkenwell, London. All attendees will be issued with a CPD certificate following the event.
Presentations and analysis exercises will take attendees through the management and support of homeworker wellbeing programmes, DSE assessments, mental and physical health management, and responding to individual needs. Afternoon sessions will then focus on approaches to creating a ‘magnetic office’ – a space personnel want to visit and use, rather than being compelled to.
A new, cutting-edge analysis tool to optimise ROI on health and wellbeing initiatives will also be presented and there will be plenty of opportunity for networking.

Guy Osmond, managing director of Osmond Ergonomics, said:
'We know that, since the rapid shift to homeworking during the pandemic, many organisations have been playing catch up when it comes to making sure their people are able to work in a healthy and sustainable way at home.
'In many cases the makeshift arrangements adopted early on have been allowed to perpetuate – even after many people moved into more permanent hybrid situations. Sadly, leaving people working on laptops at kitchen tables – or the equivalent – risks a tsunami of health issues down the line.
'This session is an opportunity for professionals with responsibility for the wellbeing of hybrid and remote workers to address the issues at hand, and access the resources that can help them ensure their personnel are working in a safe way, wherever they’re based.'
The October event follows the enormous success of a similar session, held in July. It takes place at the Orangebox Showroom, 38 Northampton Rd, London EC1R 0HU, on 19 October 2022, from 10am to 3.30pm and is completely free, including refreshments and lunch.
