IOSH approved Programme – Behavioural Science for Leadership in Safety

Open-access content Thursday 28th July 2022
Darren Sutton

Imagine if you could deliver this programme to your colleagues within your organisation. Or to your own client base.

Well, now you can. Worcestershire County Council (WCC) are one of the latest organisations to come on board – they’re putting 100 leaders and managers through our Behavioural Science programme as a blend of online and face-to-face training. It can also be delivered as a blend of online and virtual training – the choice is yours.

Train the Trainer

To help WCC prepare to deliver our blended learning option within their organisation, they booked one of their leaders on our Train the Trainer course.

By popular demand, we'll be running another Train the Trainer course in September, to enable other organisations to do exactly the same.

We'll share our delivery materials and format to enable you or your team to deliver our Behavioural Science programme using our methods and framework. You’ll also have specialist instruction, coaching and mentoring to prepare you to deliver our programme within your organisation or to your own client base. Plus, you’ll get two one-to-one coaching sessions with Darren – one before and one after the course.

Dates

Our next Train the Trainer course begins in September – find out more here. These two-hour sessions will run from:

  • Tuesday, 6 September, 6pm to 8pm (BST).

  • Three Tuesday sessions will follow on 13, 20 and 27 September.

  • Programme limited to ten people.

This course is free to attend when you commit to take 25 or more people through Behavioural Science for Leadership in Safety. That’s what WCC did. Can’t commit to 25? Call us and we’ll confirm the price to attend.

Try before you buy – and experience Behavioural Science for yourself

Before WCC came on board, their lead tutor experienced the online programme for himself – and you could do the same. Here’s the programme at a glance.

  • IOSH Certificate
  • Six engaging modules and course assessment
  • Conversational style throughout
  • Each module introduced by Darren via video
  • Interactive and easy to use learning platform
  • Hear from experts in niche areas of safety performance
  • Academic papers for those who want to dig deeper
  • Start straight away from the comfort of your own space
  • Complete in 6 to 8 hours or in bite sized chunks over a week or two.

£325 per delegate including your IOSH Certificate.
