As monitoring for real-time risk insights, collecting and managing business critical data, and proving compliance to regulatory issues become increasing priorities for financial organisations, Alcumus is delighted to welcome the UK’s second-largest building society, Coventry Building Society, to its growing roster of clients.

With nearly two million members and more than 2,500 employees, Coventry Building Society is one of the UK’s top 10 mortgage lenders. To enhance the quality of its property and risk management across its estate of 10 head offices and 70 branches, the organisation needed a new integrated system to effectively capture and consolidate vital data.

Alcumus will help provide Coventry Building Society with a fully integrated, digital technology platform that will bring together management of essential repairs, maintenance and inspections. Beyond addressing immediate business needs, Alcumus’ software is built to drive operational efficiency and collaboration across different functions of the business, which will help strengthen the accuracy of data collection across all departments.

Karen Hopwood, property manager at Coventry Building Society, said: “The real benefit to Coventry Building Society will be the capability to integrate data and management activities, which gives us full visibility of actions across our property estate.”

Helen Jones, Chief Operating Officer of Enterprise at Alcumus added: “We are delighted to be supporting one of UK’s leading financial organisations and providing the team with the service and technology that will help them keep their people and customers safe, now and in the future. With our award-winning technology, and expertise, we have been helping our clients for over 20 years create better workplaces and deliver operational and safety excellence. EHSQ solutions play an increasingly important part in the ESG mix, and we are seeing heightened interest as a result.”

Further information

Alcumus has been recognised as a leader in EHS software by research and advisory firm Verdantix in its 2021 EHS Software Green Quadrant, an independent review of global EHS software vendors, for its market-leading capabilities, demand for technology and expertise.
