Improve worker safety and reduce risk
As a workplace safety professional, you should conduct behavioural based safety observations (BBSO) on a regular basis. A BBSO is a recorded observation in the workplace on employees' safety behaviours. This is a proactive effort to get to the root cause of any unsafe behaviours on site. BBSOs form an important part of your safety programme to protect your workers, they can help reduce the number of incidents and injuries at work.
The new eBook from Alcumus explains the steps to objectively analyse and improve safety behaviours at the workplace, such as:
- Looking at unsafe behaviours
- Conducting the behaviour observation
- Dealing with dangerous behaviours
- Quality over quantity
- Applaud good practice
Also in the eBook, find out how Construction firm Winvic improved their behavioural safety through its ‘Doing It Right’ behavioural safety initiative.
