Well, here’s your chance! We’re looking for members who are experts in training, litigation, stats/data and vibration monitoring. With your valuable insight, we can make the September/October issue one to remember!
Training and CPD
Have you had to adapt your ways of learning in the last year? How have you found this? Or do you provide training and how have you found the transition? What extra support have you provided? Are blended learning solutions the best way forward? Let us know.
The threat of litigation versus the threat of prosecution – which is more of a concern for you and why? Do you work in retail, manufacturing or construction? What cases have you seen that have changed workplace practices? What can we learn from landmark cases to continue to improve OSH standards? We’re keen to find out more.
Stats – and how we interpret them
Data and stats are crucial to OSH, but is the profession interpreting them incorrectly? Do you analyse stats on a daily basis? Do you take everything into account, including press reports on the subject matter, or just focus on the key elements? Do you have any top tips for looking at the big picture and coming to a confident conclusion? We’d like to know.
We often talk about hand/arm vibration monitoring, but what about whole-body vibration monitoring? Do you use equipment that carries this risk? How do you mitigate – and prevent – the risk? Has this been harder to manage post-lockdown? Get in touch.
Can you help?
All we’d need is 15- to 20-minutes of your time to ask you a few questions – and you’ll help to shape the direction of the article on the subject matter you have the expertise in.
Email the subject you’d like to chat about along with your IOSH membership number to [email protected]. We’ll happily provide more information.
