The finalists for the highly coveted and hotly contested Association Excellence Awards have been announced, and we are delighted to reveal that IOSH magazine and ioshmagazine.com have both been shortlisted!
Created in 2014, the Association Excellence Awards salute, celebrate and encourage the vital work that associations, trade organisations, unions and industry bodies do for and on behalf of their members to ensure their voices are heard and their causes are championed.
The categories IOSH magazine has been shortlisted for are Best Association Magazine (Circulation over 25,000) and Best Association Newsletter, Blog or Online Resource.
A creative shift
In a drive to improve the readers’ – IOSH members’ – experience, it’s been all change in the last two years for IOSH magazine, with a new publishing agency, a fresh editorial team, a complete redesign and a brand new website. Meanwhile, this change means the publication now aligns the content strategy more closely to IOSH’s five-year plan.
'I am delighted that the magazine and the website have been shortlisted for these awards'
Vanessa Harwood-Whitcher, director of professional services at IOSH, said: 'IOSH magazine is a publication packed full of articles and information to help our members perform their roles and progress in their careers, all presented in a neat and punchy way. And the website, ioshmagazine.com, is the perfect accompaniment to this, keeping members up-to-date with the latest news and providing other excellent material including the regular podcast series.
'I am delighted that the magazine and the website have been shortlisted for these awards. Both are richly deserved and a credit to the teams at both the publisher Redactive and at IOSH who work so hard to pull it all together.'
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, 29 June 2021. Read the latest issue here.
